Quiche is a perfect breakfast, lunch or even dinner item when you're in a pinch. We combine broccoli and onion with our award-winning Prairie Breeze for an easy dish that tastes incredible.
1 pie crust (homemade or store bought)
1 cup grated Prairie Breeze Cheddar (4 ounces)
3 tbsp butter
1 medium yellow onion
2 cups chopped broccoli
1 cup whole milk
Salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake pie crust for up to 10 minutes.
In a skillet pan, melt butter, adding onion and cook until golden. Add broccoli and saute for an additional 10 minutes.
In a medium bowl, whisk eggs and milk. Add onion, broccoli and Prairie Breeze as well as salt and pepper. Top with diced green onions.
Bake until the center of the quiche is firm, 40-45 minutes. Serve at room temperature.
