Cheese Maker: Production

Cheesemakers are a large part of Milton Creamery LLC, without our production crew we would not be able to have the volume of sales that we currently have today. That being said your job duties will be nonstop and physical; between lifting, forking, and standing. Your day-to-day job duties will be a consistent “on the go”. Although our production is steady you will have downtime, during that time it is important to keep work areas clean. Milton Creamery holds high standards for cleanliness and neatness. If you should be working in the lab it’s important to understand the paperwork at hand and to be sure that if at any point you don’t understand you ask. Numbers are an important part of the paperwork that will be handled in production, incorrect data is unacceptable.

This job is Monday through Friday with multiple shift openings. Some overtime may be required based on milk volume.

Job duty requires but is not limited to the following:
Must be able to lift 50 to 70lbs consistently
Must be able to stand for long periods of time with short breaks
Must work well in a team/group setting
Must notify the supervisor within two hours of start time if you are unable to work.
Must be willing to work one weekend per month (Saturday Only) and occasionally Saturdays during holiday weeks
Must be willing to take ownership of one's work

You will be working in an open viewing area for our customers. It is important to remain professional when customers are in the retail store.
