Breezy Pasta

This delightful and easy springtime pasta dish brings together our Prairie Breeze cheddar and blue cheese in a smooth sauce that perfectly complements fresh asparagus and hearty pasta.

Made with quality ingredients from our small Midwestern family farms, it's a simple meal that delivers honest flavor without the fuss.

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ lbs of asparagus, trimmed and cut into ½” pieces

  • ½ cup blue cheese (4oz)

  • ½ cup Prairie Breeze cheddar (4oz)

  • ¾ cup whipping cream

  • 12 ounces of penne or rigatoni pasta

  • 2 tsp of fresh lemon juice

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Note:

Feel free to substitute any veggie of your choice!

 

 

Directions:

  1. Cook Asparagus until tender and rinse with cool water.

  2. Cook pasta according to package directions

  3. Mix blue cheese, Prairie Breeze and whipping cream, then cook over low/med heat until smooth (about 4 minutes).

  4. Add cooked pasta and asparagus to cheese sauce and toss.

  5. Drizzle with lemon juice and season to taste.
